John Pratico, PsyD, LMHC

I am a licensed psychologist and licensed mental health counselor with extensive experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity and resilience. Drawing from a strength-based and culturally responsive approach, I work with adults, adolescents, and families to foster growth, emotional balance, and meaningful change.

With a background spanning community health centers, psychiatric hospitals, schools, and private practice, I bring clinical depth and compassion to my work. In addition to my clinical practice, I teach and mentor future mental health professionals and direct a regional institute dedicated to training and wellness in the community.

My work and focus is strength-based and future-oriented. Building on strengths and working towards tangible goals allow an individual to move towards their greater life purpose. I integrate evidence-based therapy and positive psychology with a collaborative, down-to-earth style—creating a space where clients can heal and explore their true potential.
